Age Guidelines

At Budapest British International School (BBIS), we follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum, offering a coherent and high-quality educational journey for students aged 3 to 18.

Our school is structured around the three main IB programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). This structure not only supports academic growth but also nurtures personal and social development through inquiry-based, student-centred learning.

* Please note that we reserve the right to exercise discretion on entry age criteria. An exception to the rule may include children born six weeks on either side of the August 31st cut-off date or students who were born prematurely.
