After School Clubs
At BBIS we offer our students a broad selection of after school clubs and activities, the majority of which are run by our teaching staff. Co-Curricular activities offer opportunities for students to learn the values of teamwork, individual and group responsibility, physical strength and endurance, competition, diversity, and a sense of culture and community. They also provide a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned within the classroom, offering students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context.

Expeditions
At the start of the academic year our Primary students embark on day-long or overnight expeditions. These expeditions are an incredible opportunity for students to explore the great outdoors, develop essential skills, and build strong class communities.
Our expeditions emphasise connecting with the natural world through activities such as hiking, observing wildlife, and learning about local ecosystems. Students have the chance to immerse themselves in nature, fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of the environment.
Students also have the opportunity to develop a variety of practical skills during the expeditions. Example activities will include compass navigation, fire-making, den building, and route mapping. These hands-on experiences equip students with valuable life skills while fostering their independence and confidence.
Residentials
Just as we begin the year with excitement, we also end it on a high note with our residential trips. These experiences are a cherished part of our school culture and one of the highlights of the year. Students enjoy overnight stays in beautiful locations such as Visegrád, Pécs, and Tata, to name a few.
Lyfta

Lyfta is an award-winning digital learning platform that fosters global citizenship, empathy, and cultural awareness. It offers immersive 360° experiences, rich media, and short documentaries that showcase diverse human stories. Through engaging lesson plans and resources, Lyfta helps students explore the world, challenge stereotypes, and inspire meaningful classroom discussions.
Playground
Our Purpose-Built Playground for Play and Connection
Play is fundamental to children’s development, enhancing social skills, resilience, and creativity. Our purpose-built playground offers a dedicated space for students to explore, become risk takers, challenge themselves, and connect with others in a safe yet stimulating environment.
Students enjoy a specialised playground with natural, wooden elements that encourage sensory and creative play, while our Nature Observation Deck fosters curiosity and environmental awareness. Our climbing structures and outdoor gym help build gross motor strength, coordination, and fitness through active play and physical growth.
