All IB students learn the skills to live and work with others both locally and internationally. The IB learner profile attributes help students become responsible members of local, national and global communities: As communicators, students “listen carefully to the perspectives of other individuals and groups and as principled students.
To this end the BBIS Global Citizenship Program fosters developing open-mindedness to enable students to “critically appreciate their own cultures and personal histories, as well as the values and traditions of others” and they explore all this with a caring attitude which “shows empathy, compassion and respect”.
